About Bronze services
Tom O'Gorman, owner, has 40+ years experience in all aspects of bronze sculpture. He first started working in another foundry in Loveland, then
worked seven years with Loveland sculptor George Lundeen, before helping launch Loveland Sculpture Works, a foundry that has since closed. A couple
years later, on Feb. 13, 1989, O'Gorman, Mark Lundeen, Victor Issa and Dee Clements opened Bronze Services to offer sculptors welding, finishing and
patina work after their pieces were cast.
In late 1995, the company added a kiln to do the actual bronze casting and became a full-service foundry, with the exception of moldmaking.
Bronze Services has cast pieces that have been shipped all around the world. The largest project includes an 18 ft. high humpback whale breaching
out of the ocean, three frolicking orca whales, 15 sea lions, a brown bear, 30 salmon, and more, all in the Alaskan Adventure Park at the Henry
Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE.
Over the years, O’Gorman’s original three partners have left Bronze Services and become well-known names in Loveland’s sculptor community.
O’Gorman says what keeps them going is his dedicated employees and the customers who bring him work. “It’s just the people,” he said.
“They’re the ones who make it easy to come in and go to work.”
Along with their staff, Bronze Services displays a personal level of pride and perfection gaining them a high level of respect in the industry. Tom's
knowledge of the business and relationship to artists is an asset. He has made a career of helping artists transform their works from primarily clay
to bronze. Over the years, Bronze Services estimates they have provided services to 1,800+ artists.
